Homemade 3d printer built on tight budget with what I had of used parts and some new.The frame for the printer are made ​​from old store shelves and building plate is the door to a small kitchen stove.The frame for the buildplate are made ​​from the legs of a coffee table. Support for the smoothrod
for the build plate are made ​​from old garage door hinges. Enclosure for electronics is made of a an old pc cabinett along with the 550W power supply. Rest of the parts, I had to buy.

The printer has a build volume of 330mm x 230mm x 280mm. Z can easily be extended to 600mm with new rods and lead screws.

I am using a RUMBA (R.eprap U.niversal M.ega B.oard with A.llegro driver) card with DRV 8825 Designed by Kliment ... stepperdriver with 1/32 microstepping.
Smooth rods are 12mm and leadscrews are TR12x2
Lift for the build plate has a smooth rod in each corner and two leadscrew with separate stepper motors.
The enclosure of the printer are made from Lexan .
Build chamber temp ca 50*C


I finally got time to rebuild the bed to 24V with two heating elements in serie.Now it heats up in 2 min with even heat throughout the 330 x230mm. min
